|
|
Kal pinged me this week to share progress on my build and since I also finally got kettles (with some missing parts), I finally have something to show. So far I did the electricity, the tiles in the "wet" side of the brewery (in the basement), and drywall work everywhere else. Plus this weekend I started HLT assembly. Found out that I am missing a few parts (Kal, the order is in your mail ). Hope to complete the whole project in early Nov if stars align.

Build continues:
- Finished all kettles;
- Finished pumps and chiller on the same mount;
- Installed sink;
- Installed control panel mount.
Now need to paint, finish lights and electricity, install vent, and then put everything into place!

Curious how easy you found it to bend the heat shield for your pump enclosure? Assuming that's what that is. Gonna be doing that myself soon...
Cheers,

Exactly what Kal said -- bought a pair of steel sheets in Home Depot and easily flexed with hands. The hardest part was to remove the labels/scan code from the sheets actually
