Hey Kal, I see you have a nice new guide regarding fermenters https://shop.theelectricbrewery.com/pages/fermenters! I've really been debating getting rid of my conicals and replicating your setup. Cleaning them is so much of a pain that I basically dread that part of the brew now. This might seem silly, but how do you rack / transfer the beer out of the ss bucket fermenter into the kegs? Do you just pick them up, put them on your table, and then use the little spout? Or do you use an auto siphon? I dug through your instagram but I couldn't seem to find a video highlighting that step specifically. Maybe it's there and I missed it?
Thanks!
David

I mostly use a racking cane (the old fashioned way) with the vessels raised, and not the spout on the bottom. Basically a manual auto siphon. Just fill the hose with water, close the clamp, then use it. My way I can control better what's picked up instead of the spout on the bottom. All target vessels are completely purged with CO2 first.
I'm halfway through writing the follow up article on fermenting/packaging/serving where I'll have more info.
Cheers!
Kal
