Looking to buy a second hand hood vent system for the electric brewery I have built. It is the last piece I need to start brewing! I am looking for in general the recommended dimensions on the electricbrewing site 64" long and 24" deep. Thanks! I am in central Ohio area and willing to moderately travel for pickup or consider shipping.

Check out your local restaurant supply stores. Restaurants have massive turnover (unfortunately even more true during the days of COVID) and many of the shops that supply their equipment sell used stuff they've bought back from resturants for pennies on the dollar.
Now finding the exact right size you want is going to be next to impossible, but beggars can't be choosers!
Welcome to the forum!

I'm in the same situation. Would love to have the $1000-$2000 condensate hood eventually, but looking for something cheaper now. Was tempted to hook a VTX600 fan up to a Home Depot range hood over the boil kettle. Not sure how well that'll work.
I came across this, which seems interesting: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/countyline-round-end-stock-tank-2-ft-x-1-ft-x-6-ft#
I saw someone online use something similar. This is probably the cheapest 6ftx2ftx1ft piece of metal out there. Not sure how well it'll work, but not a bad price.

Anything will work and I've seen that same thing used as well. It all depends on how you want it to look really. See some of the example hoods that people have built here from big stainless ones they probably custom ordered per my instructions to very inexpensive DIY jobs: https://shop.theelectricbrewery.com/pages/testimonials
Before I had my stainless one done I built a $20 "test" one out of of foamboard. Worked perfectly fine, only problem was it's fragile and I didn't like how it looked (but that's just me). See my ventilation article for complete details.
