I'm planning on using a 15 gallon Blichmann kettle that I already have on hand for my HLT and the MFG says that it has a diameter of 16 inches, which is the advertised minimum if using the "standard" coil. Is there any benefit to having a bit more "daylight" between the wall of the kettle and the coil, or is it best to go with the smaller diameter one?
