I’m not sure what you mean by that. Can you explain or quote you what you’re reading? I don’t believe I have ever mentioned recommended manufacturers of cables in the instructions as there aren't any.

Page 85 of the 2014 Edition The Complete Guide to Building Your Brewery clearly shows the wire attached to the sensor connection directly from the recommended source.
As does http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=20_15&products_id=249
While we built up the wire, as per the instructions and added an XLR3 connection, replacing the spade ends, the ends of the wires at the sensor connection were already connected/soldered as received from the manufacturer.

I don't link to them or mention them in the guide, but you may certainly use them if it works for you.

We seem to be having a failure to communicate or "The complete Guide to Building Your Brewery" is turning into the Muller report.
Page 87 of "The Complete Guide To Building Your Brewery" (c) 2014 TheElectricBrewery.com
(Qty: 2) RECOMMENDED*: Stainless steel liquid tight RTD sensor, 1.5” probe, 1/2" NPT thread, detachable connector (model number PT100-L401/2NPT) (Buy at: AuberInstruments)
Kal, if you didn't provide the link on page 87, then whom did?
Link on page 87 goes to http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=20_15&products_id=249

I see what you're saying now. That link was removed almost 5 years ago and is no longer in the ebook. The book's changed significantly since then. I'd recommend a re-download. If you don't have your original download link email me at kal@theelectricbrewery.com so that i can look you up and resend you another download link. Cheers!
