I am closing in on done for my setup (thanks a ton for the instructions & such!). I am looking to order hoses; I am looking at http://www.theelectricbrewery.com/High-temperature-food-grade-silicone-tubing-1-2-ID-3-4-7-8-OD and noticed theelectricbrewery sells 3/4 OD hoses, but recommends using 7/8 OD for better temps.

I am having a hard time locating 7/8 OD hosing and was wondering 1) does anyone have a place they bought it from/can we get an updated referral link for Kal (the current link only sells 10 foot lengths) and 2) how much does this even matter/how many of you are using 3/4 OD lines? Are they working well for you?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

It's really hard to come by it seems. Most people do fine with the 3/4" OD stuff we sell.

I bought mine on eBay years ago (overstock pharmaceutical stuff). Here's one listed right now: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F1-meter-1-2-ID-x-7-8-OD-Food-Grade-Silicone-Flexible-Tubing-Hose-240-C0QX%2F172073448476%3Fhash%3Ditem281060741c%3Am%3AmtniABWtrVVCbZ5xD8SlYFw&campid=5336652980&toolid=20008

Or you can search for more on eBay too: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sop%3D12%26_fspt%3D1%26_mPrRngCbx%3D1%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3Dsilicone%2Btubing%2B1%252F2%2BID%2B7%252F8%2BOD%26_sacat%3D0%26_fosrp%3D1&campid=5336652980&toolid=20008

Some lengths are available on Amazon too (currently available in 100' but stock comes and goes for all lengths): https://www.amazon.com/Smart-Packs-OCSParts-Silicone-Tubing/dp/B079X2CZ39/ref=as_li_ss_tl?th=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=theelectricbrewery-20&linkId=285e5387f74572af9bdc713cebd36f49&language=en_US

Cheers!

Kal
