I'm in the final stages of planning my basement electric brewery build. Mostly basing it off Kal's well-documented step-by-step description, but I do have a question (or three!). I am planning to get a 7' condensate hood, and am planning to vent it with a 8" duct. The manufacturer recommends a fan with at least 700CFM capacity. The outside wall is about 20' away from the hood. The question is which fan to use in this scenario. I have been looking at these two, but also wonder what others would recommend in this scenario:

I'd go with the first one as it's the brand I use myself and I've confirmed that their line of fans are suitable to vent condensing steam. I don't know about the second one.
The article covers the CFM you'll need too and why. You likely won't need 700CFM. Not sure how a hood manufacturer can specify that for you unless they're making assumptions on how you plan on using your hood.
