|
|
Does the style of quick connects found on the back of PT100 probes have a name? Hirose? Or aviation connectors? I have an old cable that I would like to replace the plug on, or build a new cable.
My probes use the 4-pin connector, but the style is essentially the same as the 3-pin connectors that Kai uses.
Thx, J240V

Thanks Kai. Do you still carry the 4-pin plugs? I saw in your writeup that you switched to probes with only 3 pins.

Just to close out this thread, the probe connectors can be bought under the following part numbers from either Amazon or EBay:
XS12J4Y / XS12K4P (4 Pin) or XS12J3Y / XS12K3P (3 Pin)
Previously I hadn't really ruggized the cables per the Kai plan, I just added the XLR plugs. But now that those cables are getting worn out, I think I'm going to build the cables a bit differently. Instead of trying to ruggize the cables that came with the probes, I'm going to add the probe plugs onto some pre-made XLR cables. I'll post if it works out.
