The instructions say to use the 1/8 x 1/2" stove bolts and the stainless steel cap nuts to attach the brewery logo tag to the control panel door, but they are too long so the tag is loose. What is the proper way to do this?

Hi Chris,

You purchased a Control Panel DIY Kit (30A for 240V Countries). Some of the screw sizes are different. Refer to the Addendum Instructions that were included in the kit (also resent to you by email on Jan 28th).

Here's the pertinent part:

Quote:
Step 12: Install Tags
Install tags here if you did not install them before components. The aluminum plate is installed with 6-32x3/8” screws and the 6-32 SS Cap Nuts (washers may be required on back side of door)

Cheers!

Kal

Sorry, I copy and pasted the thread size from the original instruction manual. I am of course referring to the revised manual for the 240v version.
The 6-32x3/8" screw is what i am referring to. It's still 3/8" in length though and too long. Do I fill up the excess length with a few washers stacked?

Yup! Or cut the bolt a bit. A washer or two is easier of course. Good luck!
