So, I'm always interested in the diferent screen names out there on the interwebs. How did you come up with yours and what is the meaning of it if it is not self explanatory...
Huaco is a screen name I've used for years. I picked it up while living in Waco, TX for about 5 years. (yes, I've heard all the Waco jokes) The name actually comes from the tribe of native Americans that settled on that part of the Brazos River. The Huaco indians were a farming community. I belonged to an archery club there in Waco called the Huaco Bowmen. Thought it was a great screen name so it stuck.

Mine dates back to the mid-late 90s, when I was working on an interactive television project for the short-lived AOL-TV initiative. AOL provided me with a free account for testing, so Ryan + nteractive + [T]ele[v]sion on AOL's IM got created. My co-workers at Showtime used it to talk to me throughout the day, so I just kept it active and have been using it as a username/handle ever since.
Scary that it's almost been two decades - hahahaha!

Great idea for a thread!
My last name is Perreault (actually pronounced Purr-o) - friends in college starting calling me Perogi and it stuck.
Over two decades ago...

My younger son's middle name is Joseph, and his older brother (and eventually he too) couldn't pronounce it and said "Jofus" for several years. And then there's the year I was born...

I work in the steel industry on the Southeast border of the City of Chicago. Back in 1995 I got awarded a job as a Maintenance Mechanical Technician (MMT), I was assigned to the part of the process called the "Caster" hence the name Castermmt. I've been using it ever since. Cheers, Castermmt

HI, i like your status. Playing for the WU is great. I also Played in CUET Football Team, but here we avoided bear in public. I often go by the screen name Nettikasinot or Kasinobonukset. I first started using them as a youngster because I loved playing slots so much.

Name came because I'm building an electric brewery, my toddler said we should name his soon-to-be-born baby sister "slide", and because I love watching my wife dance to the electric slide. It all just came together I guess.

My two hobbies are playing pinball (and fixing up tables) and drinking beer, so... you know. That happened.

Mine came from racing. And it was my racing number. At the time I started racing, I was living in Baton Rouge, La. Area code for Baton Rouge is 225.
And most user names on forums aren't just numbers. So it's never taken.
