|

Kal mentions that all duct work should be the solid vent kind. I have a situation where typical 90 degree elbows will not fit to the exhaust exit from the house and the fan attached to the hood. Wondering if a foot long flexible vent would have any negative effects? I have seen lots of builds that use an insulated flexible vent so I think it should be good?

Kal, can figure out how to brew beer, cant figure out message board pics lol...check out my Instagram tonto_ale_works....The hood and fan combo will extend to where the ceiling has been torn out. The run will be at max 16 inches and rise of about 8". Vented through an 11" solid pipe to the exterior.
