What is everyone using under your hood?

Shocked

In all seriousness, I was thinking an LED strip under the hood that I can plug in by the fan but I would have to find something water proof.

I like the Edison bulb idea that I have seen as well, but I would think that is more aesthetics than light?

Curious as to what everyone is doing for light under there.

Nothing at all myself. I have 3 ceiling lights pointed at my pots.

I found some puck lights (hard wired type) on Amazon. They are only like 3 watts each but very bright.

My Edison bulbs put out plenty of light. I put them on the backsplash so steam wouldn't be dripping off them back onto the pots. I have puck lights under my shelves at my work station/ desk too. I like them, but they chew through batteries pretty fast. I'd recommend having something hard-wired.

I'm using a 5M LED strip and I love it. I ran it almost all the way around the inside lip of the hood and it's great! Not the one I'm using, but a cheap waterproof option with power supply:

Have a 2 ft LED strip light unit under mine, but thinking of changing it to 4ft unit, as the area under the hood does not get much light, due to poor positioning of the ceiling light units.

How did you secure your light to the hood? I like that option and that's what I've been planning on doing, but the reviews say the sticky back of the tape light isn't very good, and I have anxiety over the light falling off into a brew kettle on brewday when there's lots of steam.
