|
|
I have a question about mash thickness when running a herms system. Do you still have to follow the qt/lb ratio or can you just add a much higher volume of water to the MT. For example, if I need a total of 8 gallons of water can I mash with 6 gal and sparge with 2? The grain bills are approximately 10 lb. My system utilizes three 10 gallon Spike kettles with the Spike false bottom. Thank you.
