Hi guys, I have bought my 50 ltr kit for my brewery and i have started buying parts for the control panel.
I have bought 2 24v water pumps as i was running out of money.
What type of receptacles would i need for them?
Also the power relays, do i need one for all my elements and the power in?
Sorry i am from the UK

Hi!
If you're looking to build to our design, the "FAQ: Adapting for 220-240V countries" is here: http://www.theelectricbrewery.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25393
It'll explain how to build a control panel for your country.
The recommended pump receptacles will work at 24V too. What you do need to figure out however is some way to get 24V to them as you do not have that available as you only have 230-240V AC available. I'm not sure if your pumps are AC or DC, but you'll likely need some sort of 240V AC to 24V (AC or DC) converter if these are the pumps you want to use. That's not something I can assist with.
As for the power relays, I suggest if you're not sure how to built that you follow the wiring diagrams in the link above. I'll show you what power relays you need and how to wire them.
Good luck!
Kal

Yes it is a 30 a panel (uk) I am doing, I have just got 2.4 kw elements,1 in my hlt and 2 in the boiler.
Hopefully i can upgrade to the bigger elements later.
So for the power relay, I need 3 of them,1 for power in,1 for the hlt and 1 for the boiler right?
