Definitely retape if you feel it's not working. Make sure to tape the seams in the elbow as well.

The idea is to give any condensation only one place out (the drip hole).

Curious if you considered mastic instead of tape. Seems like more a sure thing as far as sealing goes? Looks a lot messier though!

No idea - sorry! Two different manufacturers. That said, I'm sure any good quality Aluminum Foil Tape will work. I'm not a tape expert. Wink

I did not. What I used has worked now for more than 10 years on two different setups (current brewery and old).
