All of a sudden the temp probe on the MLT is stuck at 134/135. It will not read above that. I've checked the water temp with my thermapen which is reading 145 and swapped the lines between the HLT and the MLT. When I do that, the MLT still reads 134/135 and the HLT shows the correct temp for it. I've only used the system less than a dozen times.

Suggestions? Question

So the problem stays with the MLT PID no matter what temp probe you use?

What happens if you unplug the temp probe from the MLT PID? Does the PID display "orAL" to indicate that it doesn't see a probe anymore?

Well, that's weird. I had shut the whole system down awaiting suggestions and just turned it back on to double check after your reply. It is now climbing above 135.

Kal, feel free to delete this thread if you want. Not sure what happened, but it's working as expected now like I said.

Strange.

Keep an eye on it. If the problem stayed with the PID no matter which probe you plugged in, you may have a defective PID.

Will do.

For further clarification, I had hooked the MLT probe to the HLT PID and it read correctly. Hooking the HLT PID to the MLT probe stuck at 134/135. So it definitely stayed with the probe and not the PID. Was odd. It would rise to 135 but stop there.

You actually wrote the same thing twice (HLT PID / MLT probe), but I get what you're saying. Wink If the issue stayed with the probe or probe cable then the issue may have been the probe or probe cable (or both).
