Just picked up 2 SS Brewtech Brewbuckets on the recommendations on here. I have been using fastferments and while I love the principal, they are a pita to move around and I had a bad case of leaking last time I used them.
So that brings me to my question. How do you guys handle the racking arm on the brewbucket.
I can definitely see that leaking if I don't do it right. If I overtighten it the o rings will bulge out and I also found that while turning the racking arm the nut on the inside wasn't turning which sounds wrong. My guess is its got to be pretty lightly done.

I frankly don't use it at all. I just rack out the top.

I like the simplicity of transfer to keg using the spigot and am looking into light Co2 or gravity push straight into the dip tube of my kegs.
I have been struggling through a huge 110+ page thread on homebrewtalk and saw your post re stainless washer over the o ring.
Did you try or even better manage to source the right size washer for the brewbucket o ring?

I ended up just using a large red flat silicone washer similar to the one here:

So no stainless washer. Just one large flat silicone washer. The caveat is that the racking arm doesn't turn now but I don't care as I don't use it that way.

Unfortunately I don't know what size washer it is (I have buckets of various sizes/shapes as part of my designing/building things).
