Apparently, this is fixable as described in the following.
"I suggest unbrazing the tee, cutting the tube it's blazed to with a tube cutter and resolder the tee. From there you can rebuild the connection for the ID tube. You will have to swing the tee into another direction, but it can be bepaired. Unless you prefer not fixing it, it should be able to be repaired in about an hour or so by someone who can handle a torch. Perhaps a refrigeration repair company can help."
Anyone local to me willing to fix? I'll pay a reasonable amount or take us for drinks at a local pub.
