Anyone tried one of these? I'm interested in how people like them or other opinions of course...

Thx!

I think they look nice and shinny but on a 10 gallon scale I don't really see the need for one.

Yeah, I'd have to agree. I suppose everyone has a different process, but nowadays I often go from the primary directly to 5 gallon kegs (no gelatin) because I'm often brewing something fruity/hoppy and don't want to lose anything. And when I do need to sit on another round of hops in th secondary or use gelatin for something like a light lager I'll use 5 gallon glass carboys.

YMMV. It really depends on your process. How you like to brew (no right or wrong answer).

I just recently got a sabco brite tank,
https://www.brewmagic.com/products/select-sankey-keg/
I then added this from Nor Cal Brewing,
http://www.norcalbrewingsolutions.com/store/Ultimate-Sanke-Keg-Cross-Fermenter-Kit.html
I had them weld on a 4" tri-clamp lid.
So far I have used it for the Kern River Citra Double IPA (great beer) and a Belgian cherry beer. It made hop and cherry additions very easy, cleanup was easy too.
I transfer from a conical under pressure to the brite tank, keeping that under pressure as well, then into my kegs when ready.
So far I really like it in my system for the beers with multiple additions. As mentioned, is one really needed?, probably not, but I'm glad I got one and has worked out very well for me so far.

Cheers, Richard.
