Sorry guys, but due to a great increase of spammers I've now enabled "admin acceptance" for any new users. This means new users have to be accepted by me before they can post. Annoying for them, but should result in less annoyance for everyone else as it should eliminate most spam.
In most cases new users will only have to wait a few hours before their account is accepted and they can post.

Yup! I think it's working out for the better. I think it's actually less work for me deleting spammers was getting to be a lot of work and was really getting in the way of the forum experience for other users (I think).
I can see spammers (for the most part) a mile away because their profile has that obvious spammer look to it, with things like links to websites for growth hormones or other unrelated stuff. When doubt I don't nuke them and some will come back and post spam, but it's rare.
