My first keg just ran dry Oh NO!
I have a small pressure spray tank converted with a Corny liquid post on the end so I can attach the liquid QD that leads to the tap. I first flush with warm water, then PBW, then warm water to flush. At this point the line is full of tap water.
My question; should I leave the line full of water? or blow the line clean with either air or CO2? It will be several weeks before the next keg is available to tap. I know it will be very difficult to get all of the water out of the line and my fear is the combination of water and air will be more at risk of contamination than the water alone.
Any thoughts or personal best practices?

I wouldn't worry about it. Just run some cleaner or sanitizer through it right before you hook up the new keg in a few weeks.

A little OT
But Shadow, if I didn't worry about this, want would I worry about. There is always the question of should I carry a 60° wedge and that problem of "do I have enough savings to survive the rest of my life?"... But all the advice I get is "live in the moment" and "the rest of my life" is SOOO next week.
