Anyone has had any experience using whirlfloc or some other kind of flocculant. The basic recipes ask for irish moss, but I remember working at our local brewery they used whirlfloc. Is it better?

I use 1/2 tablet of whirlfloc in each 5 gallon batch. I can't say if it's any better than just Irish moss or not. I didn't use Irish moss for very many batches.
