I have a question when installing the volt/amps meters. Why using 2 adjustable DC power supply and 120VAC to 12VAC transformers when you can use one set and connect both elements

This question crops up time and time again on this forum and it's always the same answer. With the specified amp and voltmeter there is an interaction between the two if only one transformer is used, which leads to false readings. The two meters must have an isolated power supply for each.
