Any more information on the temperature control panel would be of great help.

Toothpick - I am going to work on a thread on the build for the fermentation refrigeration controller. This is the first box I have built like this and did a lot of trial and error testing and hookup, so I will need to go back in the box and recreate the wheel a bit. I built it and tested it last January and February and it has been sitting on the sidelines while my brewery was built. I would also add that I am no electrician and there are probably much better ways to go about it. That said, it has been running flawlessly for almost 4 months and works perfectly and most importantly, has not burned down the house!

Thanks for the reply I built my own electric control panel from scratch plans from the electric brewery site and would live to build a temp control panel like yours.

Absolutely gorgeous! I too would be very interested in your control panel setup. I've seen homebuilt glycol setups before that can be set to heat or cool, but it seems to get more complicated to make it do both automatically. I'm certainly no engineer myself, but I'm very good at following directions!
Additionally, how do you like your SS Brewtech fermenters? The MoreBeer conicals are attractive because they can heat or cool automatically, but not sure I can get over that price! The temp controlled SS Brewtech fermenters seem far more economical, especially if you have designed a system for heating and cooling.

Wow, impressive work. I've had a kal clone for the better part of 5 years now, and am located in Centreville, VA. Would love to see your setup in person. Are you part of any local homebrew clubs?
I'm in the process of building out my basement brew room and you've done an amazing job on a lot of what I was planning.

Guess this should be obvious. To ferment multiple batches you must have separate pumps for each fermentor?

Cardmechanic - I would be happy to show you my setup and brew a batch together so you can see everything in action. We are traveling through the new year, send me a PM and we can coordinate.
Rcrabb22 - yes I have three aquarium pumps inside a keg in the Keezer full of water, some glycol and a bit of starsan. The pumps are controlled by the three controllers you see on the right side of my term controller box. The temp probes go into a thermowell in the lid of the fermenter.

So no brewing lagers I guess? (I have to usually set to 48F to hold the wort at ~52F).

Ben58 - I use Love controllers for the refrigeration and I use the controllers that came with the SS Brewtech fermenters for the conicals - not sure what brand they are, I will have to look when I am back in town.
Kal - yes I can lager with the setup - I am doing my first lager now, Your German Helles Lager, I just move the pump from the cooling reservoir to the reservoir for the tap pump that is tied to the freezer copper loop that keeps the taps at 39°. I am maintaining 52° right now. I need to insulate the top of my fermenter and the vinyl cooling hoses aren't insulated yet, so I bet I can get the temps to within 8° of the source reservoir.

Apparently I am not the only Batman lurking in the shadows. Dude, my jealousy factor isn't even measuring on the scale. This is very well done. As soon as I get my wife's home office finished I hope to start on my own basement renovation. Truly inspiring what everyone is doing on this forum. Cheers all.

Zimm - thanks, and yes, so much inspiration was taken from this forum. What amazes me is the problem solving, creativity and innovation of home brewers. And yes, your wife needs taking care of first!

V1-Vr-V2 - I love the fermenters! I put wheels on them, they are easy to clean and move around the brewery, and I can pressurize them to move beer into conditioning or bright tanks. With the FTSS cooling system and the car seat heaters, I can control the fermentation temps easily.

Very nice brewery! What size and model hood is that? Where did you pickup the wood tile?

Thanks once again for the inspiration. Your post was the first I had heard or seen of RaspberryPints and I had to have it
I got a webserver running on my Mac Mini and installed the RaspberryPints package. I displayed the included demo tap list on my iPad. Can't wait to get a proper monitor hung in my bar area. I have an older computer I can set up to be the server.

Absolutely amazing, wish I had a basement! In Florida I have to make do with a lanai. Really love what you have created!
