That seems like a lot of boil off volume for only 90 mins. Are you running your element at 100%?
Does your BK have a sight glass?
About to pick up some used stout kettles but the BK doesn't have the sight glass, just element port and tangential inlet. Trying to figure out how to measure pre-boil volume....

The boil off seems right to me based on my system.
I have a sight glass on my BK but you could use the stick method of adding a measured 1 gallon at a time and marking a mash paddle or something else you could insert into the BK to see where it comes up on it. Or you could etch the inside of your BK after adding 1 measured gallon at a time. There was a good thread on that sometime ago on HBT.

Seems high compared to my 3500W induction cooktop with 10 gallon pot is all!
I don't think the surface area is that different for the 20 gal stout pots so it must be vigor from the higher powered 5500W elements.
