Good afternoon. I recently moved from Northern Virginia to Eagle River, Alaska. I'm looking for a less expensive way to buy bulk grain. I purchased a sack of Weyermann Pilsner Malt today for around $95. Appreciate the recommendations.

There are a number of micro-breweries in Anchorage. You might try to talking to them to see if you can piggy back on their grain orders. Most if not all of these guys (gals) started as Home Brewers, they might be sympathic. Its a long way up there and I'm sure even the best price on grain is expensive. Good Luck.

David's suggestion is what I'd recommend as well. Make sure to support the brewery as well by buying their beer too.
Good luck!
