We went out to eat last Friday night at an Irish pub and my wife ordered the Kilkenny Irish Cream Ale. It blew her mind how good it was especially on Nitro. She liked it so much we went back for dinner on Saturday so she could get another. Now I'm looking at removing 1 of my 8 taps and replacing it with a nitro faucet. In looking at the nitro setups I read that you can put an aeration stone on the gas in line inside the keg to move it to the bottom instead of venting into the keg headspace and that was supposed to make it carb much faster as the gas passes through the beer instead of into the headspace and then "absorbed" by the beer. Has anyone done this? I need to get going on making this beer for my wife!
