I want to hard wire the temperature probe to my PID. In the DIY kit, do the wires have the "u" terminals as shown on the Auber site?
Thanks

I would imagine that the spades are left on, but I've sent a quick note off to Spike Innovations to confirm.

Thanks
One more question I just remembered -
I want to use the the probe in a 3/8" Tee. Will the 1/4"NPT-2" probe with a 3/8" x 1/4" bushing be too long to fit in the 3/8" tee?
Thanks for your help

I'm not sure. It would depend on how big the Tee arms are, how long the bushing is, and how it all fits together (what usable depth you end up with). The probe length on the 1/4" NPT version is 2" long. So you'd need 2" of space.

Now that said, I do myself use the 1/4" NPT probe version with 2" probe as the 1/2" NPT version with 2" probe wasn't available at the time. I use a 1/2" Tee and a bushing to go from the 1/2" to 1/4". It all fits fine, there's about 1/4" to 1/2" of extra space. I would imagine you'd have similar results.

You are correct, the DIY kits come with the probe wires with the spade connectors still attached.
