Very strange off idea. Does anyone know of a way to create a sealed lid that could be clamped on a Blichmann boil kettle, almost like a pressure pot. I was thinking if there was a high temp silicone o-ring and some sort of clamping mechanism that could be used. Any thoughts?

Hmmm... Pressure Blichmann = ???
Amongst those that like to seal their BK it seems that flour paste is the tried and true, and most often used way of doing this. Using a gasket would be tricky as far as clamping it down all around I believe, but assuming you did make a gasket you might be able to use a lot of those black paper clamps you find at the office supply stores.
And hypothetically speaking you might want to swap out your silicone o-rings with the teflon equivalents from McMaster.

are you trying to make moonshine? been wanting to try that. Try using a silicone hose, cut one side and slide it over the top edge of the pot

I never thought about shine! Just a cooking application, a really big pressure pot.

Or one hell of a steam bomb. Unless you know the pressure capabilities of these pots and have an appropriate relief valve attached to the lid, I would not attempt this.

+1. Using something as a pressure cooker that was never intended to be used as a pressure cooker is (IMHO) extremely dangerous. You have no idea how well it will hold up. The relief valve would most certainly be required.
What are you trying to do?

This may work if you could get some food grade silicone to attach it, but how do you solve the clamp issue? Are you going to weld L brackets to the pot and lid?

well to be honest, to make moonshine the top would have a 1/2 inch to 1" copper tube coming out of the top to allow for the steam to to solidify again, the whole thing should be simple, use buckle clamps riveted into the side clamping the top down onto high heat silicone tubing
