While having a touch screen or controlling it from your phone is cool... I chose to go with Kals setup because it uses standard components and it looks frickin cool.

I'm sticking with my panel too, just got a kick out of the product title. I don't want any more automation...

I remember seeing this about ~6 months ago too when I came across their site and also got a kick out of the name... My wife seems to think I need to be converted somehow so she may be the first customer.
I'm not sure if there would be much of a market for it given that some of the design goals that were important to me in my panel (and I'm assuming were also important to those who built or bought my design), would no longer be met if converted to a touch-screen computer based brewery.
In other words, if someone didn't want a panel like mine, they would not have bought it in the first place.
I list my goals here: http://www.theelectricbrewery.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25382

Well it looks like after approximately ~1 year of operation, BrewMasterControls went out of business. At least it appears that way as they haven't posted anything new to their Facebook page or blog since 2013, customer questions are going unanswered, and the guy who won their control panel giveaway took a year to get his prize and the software to make it run wasn't ever included (more info). Oddly enough, their website is still open to taking orders.
So I guess I'm safe from being converted!
