I love everything about this beer...like it may become a problem Very Happy

Google pops up a couple of similar clone recipes, but I thought I'd ask here if anyone has brewed a batch (or offer suggestions on how to find a good recipe)

The Hopslam recipe looks great and got me thinking....

Thanks! The other recipes I found were also on brewersfriend, but I kinda hesitate to jump into a recipe w/o some kind of trustworthy feedback.

Still not sure how the yeast pitch rate calculator thing works there, but working on it!

Northern Brewer's Dead Ringer is reputed to be a very close clone of Two Hearted. You could simply use the recipe:

rickysa,

Here is a Bell's Two Hearted that we have brewed 3 times so far, tweaking the recipe each time, with very good results.

I have included a brew-sheet/profile for our version of BellsTwoHearted_v3.pdf. If you would like I can also attach a Beersmith (ver. 1.4) recipe profile and the latest "Water Profile" for Louisville, Ky.

I wish you the best of luck and please let us know how your brew day turns out.

Here is the most recent Water Profile for Louisville, Ky that I have for end of 2012 / beginning 2013 season. I will be having a new water test done for the Summer / Fall 2013 brewing season. I will post those results as soon as I get them.

Attached is our Beersmith (v1.4) recipe profile for our 3rd attempt at a B.T.H.A.
The file was exported to .XML format with a .txt extension.

I was very happy with this attempt of a small test batch. We will be brewing a 10-12 gal batch this summer to have in rotation for Fall. I will update the profile with the Full "Kal Clone" profile with the Blichman 20gal pots.

I hope that this helps

Very nice Kal....unfortunately, I get to brew it again as yesterdays brew session ended when the pre-chiller (used for the first time) didn't pass water worth a crap and back pressure busted the supply hose and I didn't have any spare to remake one on the spot...

ah well.....it was good practice anyway Thumbs Up
