Not sure if this was asked before, but is there any kind of overlay or cutout template that comes with the kits?
I don't mind doing the cutouts but me spacing the components for the cutouts would probably be a disaster.

It's really not as hard as you make it out. You can lay it all out with a framing square, pencil and tape measure. Just make sure to measure twice and cut once. It sure is hard to add that metal back once you cut it.
Lay out marks and use a square to connect the marks with lines. Identify which intersection gets which type of opening.
But to answer your question, When I bought my 50A B2B kit, there was no template included.
