An Italian brewer I've been talking to (he's been using some of my ideas) sent me a link to a grain chart he just put together:

http://doublegbeer.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/grains-chart.pdf

Pretty nice. Suitable for printing, and free. I asked him if it's ok to relink it first. No issues. If you like it, let him know!

It's designed by Alessandro Gerosa [alessandro.gerosa@studiofavarongerosa.com] of http://doublegbeer.wordpress.com/

Sweet! It's great on my laptop. For whatever reason Wordpress and my iPad don't play well together.

I posted in a local email list and others there mentioned issues with it as well. Some were prompted for a password. Strange. I never had any issues using the latest Firefox & Adobe PDF viewer on Windows.

I got it downloaded. No problems. Thanks!

Now I just have to figure out what is causing my computer to crash when I print PDF files to my Plotter! I want to print this thing large format and laminate it!

I researched some ways to convert from PDF to JPG and was able to do it to a few other files. This file however, hung up on conversion and one of the errors was "make sure your file is not password protected"
There must be some glitch happening with this file...

The first time I tried to open it, i got the request for a password. I then saved it locally and was able to open it.

Nope.... tried 4 different PCs

Two Windows 64-bit machine running Acrobat X Standard or Professional
One Windows 32-bit machine running Acrobat 9 Standard
One Windows XP machine running Acrobat 8 Professional

All generate an error about being unable to decrypt, or a message about password protection, or one about unable to open the file because its from a newew version of Acrobat.

I think this was not generated with a standard Adobe PDF program, but rather something else that generates PDFs.

Sad

Mac Users: You can view it by using Adobe Reader X (the built in PDF facilities won't work).

A new updated notice occurred for Adobe Acrobat today on my PCs. It works for me now.

Thanks!

Here's a link to the FIXED version (i.e. re-distilled to it doesn't produce the error for opening/closing)

This chart looks great. Thanks for converting so we could see it. Now how to get it made into a poster! Mug
