four Peaks Brewing in Tempe, Arizona has a great beer they call Kiltlifter. Their website lists ingredients as

2-row
Caramel 80L
Carapils
roasted barley
Goldings hops

with 6% alcohol
16 SRM and
21 IBUs

It is listed as a Scottis-style Export Ale.

Using the efficiency of the Electric brewery, what would someone suggest as to ingredient amounts for a 5.5 gallon batch.

Yea, I found that one but they use peat smoked malt which not mentioned on the four peaks website. Reason is for some reason when I printed the shopping cart off beersmith at home, it had completely screwed up the amounts.

Apropros peated malt - I'm also looking at formulating a Scottish ale recipe. According to the BJCP, the local water gives the smokey taste because the water table runs through peaty ground, so brewers in Scotland don't need to add peat malt to create the peaty/smoky flavour. Of course, if you're not using scottish water then 1-3oz per 5gal of peated malt can be added.

I'm going to start low, and add just 2oz for the entire 10 gal batch.

For 94% mash eff. and brewhouse eff ca. 90% I get these figures for 12gal into the ferementor from BeerSmith 2.0.

18lb 7.6oz pale malt 84.1%
1lb 15.1oz crystal 80L 8.8%
15.6oz carafoam/carapils 4.4%
6.2oz Roasted barley 1.8% (*)
2.1oz Peat Smoked Malt 0.6%

goldings, 90 min to 22 IBU

Volume into kettle: 15.8gal
Volume into fv: 12 gal
Boil 90 mins
OG: 1.061
Color: 14.1

The color is a little lighter than the 16 SRM expected, however I often find that a little roasted barley often comes out darker than predicted by the software. Also, kettle caramelization will darken the beer a little.
