Beautiful! So, it will be 7". Guess I can go ahead and punch those last two holes then! CAN WAIT!

If I were you, I would wait just to confirm. Also, at 7", there is no gap between any of the coils at all. It might be beneficial to set the holes at 8", but who knows.
Im a firm believer in not doing something permanent before you have everything in hand and can determine the best solution for your particular setup.

This looks great. I'm really anxious to hear what the pricing comes out to be. I have a 30 gallon Boilermaker and was wondering if this would work with 90 degree compression fittings. I bought them for use on a different project which didn't pan out.

Yep, you're right Mike. I'll stick to my original plan. Just got excited looking at the prototype.

You could use the 90 degree compression fittings if you were to cut off the straight portions of the coil. This is designed to use the straight fittings just as outlined in Kal's instructions.
If you were interested, I do have a SS coil that is the correct diameter with no bends at the ends. It is left over from my attempt at coiling these myself. You can email me at SpikeInnovations@TheElectricBrewery.com and I can show you photos and discuss pricing.

Nice! I'm tempted to order one myself to replace the wonky one I made!

If you do decide to replace it Kal. I want to be first in line for it.

Me too, and I'm pretty sure mine is wonkier than yours and with a small kink or two! It was such a pain getting mine in that I dare not remove it, for fear I can't get it back in again.
I just wonder how much shipping will be to Europe?!

Sparky, you need to stop sticking the knife in the wall socket!

Personally, I'm hoping Kal decides to get one, and "donates" his current one to my cause!

I'm standing by in anticipation.
My Visa card is quivering a little bit.
