Finally finished everything including the venting so today is the first brew day using my Kal Klone. Making a clone of O'Dells 90 Shilling.
Wish me luck

Even after going through several mock brews with just water for testing, the actual brew day went fairly well although it took quite a bit longer than expected. All equipment performed perfectly and I was especially impressed with how the vent hood worked. I drilled my weep hole in the fan and did not have one drip. I guess it helps not to really have any bends in the duct.
One issue is for my brew stand, I just bought a 60 inch sink base with a 72 inch counter top from Lowes. It is a little tall and and makes looking into the pots a little difficult. I am 6 feet tall. About 6 inches lower might have been nicer.
Also must remember to turn off element when pumping water from HLT, ran it dry yesterday and element got a nice bright red. Still works though.
Still need to pick up some bits and pieces to make things go smoother.
Having not brewed beer for 5 years, there are a lot of little things that I forgot, such as pitching the stir bar into the fermentor. Oh well. Live and learn

That is sweet! You looks like you only used about 12 feet of hose by mounting the pumps so close, very nice. Is the hood made of of foam board? I may need to go in that direction but still shopping around for Stainless Steel. Nice job!!

Yes, I used foam board for the hood, very light and easy to use. Stainless would have been better but I had to save money where I could.

You may have priming problems however. I kept mine low on purpose to avoid any priming problems:

No priming issues, just open the cam lock on the inlet side and hold a cup under it to catch the small dribble of liquid.
