|
|
Does anyone have a lead or know where to purchase a small control panel digital clock? I am looking for a clock that is very small to mount to my control panel. I don't have much room left on the face of my control panel and would like to add a clock.
It would be nice to have a clock mounted on the control panel for the bling factor but also for using it to record specfic times during the brewing process.
I have not used my timer yet and i don't think it has a clock feature, do the omega timers have such feature?

EDIT: note that this is for a [b]timer[b/], not for a clock! The click is given in sparky's posts about 3-4 posts down.
Here's an updated link for the item.

Sparky, have you ordered this one, and seen it working? From the description, it's hard to see if it functions as a clock, i.e. shows the current time. The description looks more like a timer, and the listing doesn't give much details on how to program it/set it up. If you've used it, maybe you should describe how to program it, and what the cut-out dimension are.
Thanks!

Crush,
Your link shows a timer, not a clock. Go to the link I showed. Actually, I am going to start mine up this weekend to see how it looks. More info later!

Hi sparky,
I did check out the link you showed. It was an item that had ended, so I just found one the same that was current.
Here's my link,
http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574906687&t9oolid=10001&campid=5336652980&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2FDigital-Meter-Timer-Clock-Counter-LED-Sec-min-hr%2F200587561364%3Fpt%3DAU_B_I_Electrical_Test_Equipment%26hash%3Ditem2eb3f34994%23ht_4620wt_780
and your link for comparison
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&hash=item1e6040438b&item=130463843211&nma=true&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&rt=nc&si=Vtunp0HDS8GuUPge4kktZfuziY8%253D#ht_5508wt_1000
You'll see the descriptions and photos are the same.
When you get to fire it up, let us know if it's a clock or timer, and how you program it!
Cheers,
crush

Okay, so today I played with the clock and got it going. The instructions aren't exactly straightforward for hooking up and setting, but I got it going. I am going to use it for my panel build. I like it since it is the same size as the amp/volt meters. However, the numbers are red, compared with the amp/volt which are blue.
If I do a 60amp schematic, I will include the wiring for this unit.
