Should the PCT-21 timer come with the 11-pin socket or is this something that needs to be ordered separately? Thought I should ask before I start calling...

Mine came with the socket. I ordered it right from Omega.

The manufacturer site I link to sells it with a socket. It says it's included.
I managed to get mine off eBay for cheaper but they're a @#*@#%$&@# to find.

Called Omega this morning and the socket is on the way. No fuss. Their responsive customer service was refreshing! BTW, my panel arrived last night!
Kal - you ever consider having a eBay store for component bundles? Having a 'buy it now' option for the Control Panel parts would be very convenient and interesting...

We're working on offering up control panels for sale and possibly DIY kits with all the parts.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'eBay store'. The eBay parts I link to are from all sorts of different sellers. I don't sell them directly.
