|
|
I have two different transformers.
One is a Honeywell RCA900N with black, green & white wires.
The other is Dimang DH910 with 2 black and one green wire. The Dimang has outputs for 8, 16 & 24v, the Honeywell is 16v only.
I should use the 16v and adjust the DC power supplys as needed?
Green is ground and white/black black/black are hot? So which of the black's on the dimang go wo the neutral bus? does it matter?
Thanks for such a great site!

You only need 5 volts AC or so so any of the tap outputs would work.
No idea about the wiring however. One side should be lablled the 120V AC side and the others should be the taps for lower voltage. It should either be labelled or come with documentation.

Yeah so the wires are the AC side and the screws are the taps. My only question is the two black wires on the one transformer as opposed to one black and one white. No documention on that one

Got a voltmeter? Use a 1.5V battery or something to test things out and measure!
