I have all the components except for the omega timer which i might change because its more expensive than the other ASL-51. Anyway im putting them in the front and trying to line them up with how yours are so they wiring will be as controlled as possible when i noticed the lights have x1 and x2. I was wondering if it matters what you make hot and neutral. I'm pretty sure since there led it doesn't matter but just want to make sure i don't blow one up.

This is my painted front with cutouts. I used a hand drill with step for the 22mm (dont have a drill press wish i did). And jigsaw for the squares and lastly a dremel to shave our the notches for the volt/amp meters which i made a little big. Personal note others when drilling with a metal bit dont push down very hard just let it spin fast and lightly push. I made a dent in by my meter but it will be covered.

Thanks for the great instructions Kal, ill be buying you a beer when i can afford it again

Nope. It doesn't matter. Mine had the same X1/X2 connection points.

Where polarity is important, it will be noted in the diagrams.

I like the blue! It's fun but not overly crazy.
I thought about doing something completely outrageous like a bright neon colour but in the end chickened out and went with something less distracting.

I like the blue too, really brings out the metal on the switches. Is that cobalt blue?
