Hey all. Hopefully this will help some people out that are trying to find a heatsink for their TEB clone. I am currently in the process of building a similarly adapted version of Kal's control panel. After about an hour on ebay trying to find a heatsink that would work, I finally found this one. After I purchased it, the seller listed another one within an hour. Also in the listing it says they have plenty more. So hopefully this will help many of you out if you are having the same heatsink woes as me.

Yeah it's perfect for this application. I actually have 3 SSR's as I'm running a RIMS setup. Still have 1 spot for expansion.

That's funny, I spent about 2 hours searching for one that would work and ended up getting the exact same one!

Well I don't feel so bad then for only spending an hour looking for one, ha. Turns out, if you need SSR's as well, this is another good find.

BrewBeemer over at HBT said that this seller has many more of them. Not sure why they aren't listed, but maybe you can contact the seller and get one.

bbognerks, Thanks for that link. I asked the seller to relist so now there are more available. Bought one myself. The only downsize is that the heatsink is not anodized. Anyone know if it would it be ok to spray paint the neatsink with metalic paint?

Just got mine. Good condition. Was a little dirty and had grease on it. A good wiping and it looks as good as new. Think I am going to seal the existing screw holes with JB stick or weld.

why do you want to seal the existing holes? I asked the seller to throw in a couple of screws, and he did. (Quite hard to get imperial screws in Norway...)

because there 12 holes and I only need 8 of them. If they do not line up with my cuts, I will just the outer hole for mounting, and tap new ones for my ssrs. Probably could just fill them with silicon to. Last think I want it water leaking in through the sink.

Update, I mounted the ssr using the inner most holes, freaking dropped one on my concrete garage floor, hope it still works. I used some 8-32 screws to seal the holes I did not use. I put a little silicon caulk on the threads to seal it. Did not have any locktight.

I just purchased one of these heatsinks as well. At $30 shipped it's a pretty good deal. I ran into the same problem as milldoggy where the heatsinks shipped with my Chinese manufactured SSRs were the exact same size as the SSR itself. This leaves no area for the heatsink to be mounted to the enclosure. I'm glad I came across this thread. Thanks for sharing.

If one isn't listed right now just wait a little bit and he/she will post another one. The link above is for a $10 version but I haven't seen any go for anything but $20 plus $10 for shipping.
