Howdy, I'm ordering some tools for my build and I was wondering what people thought of this step drill bit instead of the GreenLee...

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009XJ31A?ie=UTF8&tag=theelectricbrewery-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0009XJ31A

It's a bit less expensive and I like that it has labels for the different diameters.

I would stick with GreenLee. While I've never used the one you linked to, I've been through many over the years. They just don't work as well or stay as sharp. Worse yet, a crappy bit will not only hurt itself but the kettle or box you're cutting into with overheating/warping/etc.

I got my GreenLee 36414 1-3/8" step drill bit off ebay too for cheap. Here's a link to search for it (that also helps support our site): http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=9&pub=5574906687&toolid=10001&campid=5336652980&customid=&icep_uq=GreenLee+36414&icep_sellerId=&icep_ex_kw=&icep_sortBy=12&icep_catId=&icep_minPrice=&icep_maxPrice=&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg

We've used both Irwin and Greenlee for our jobs and Greenlee is much better (longer lasting) than Irwin. But, since you are only doing a couple holes, you should be okay. The boys on our crews are using them day in, day out!
