|
|
Does anyone have any experience with the performance difference of a copper CFC vs SS? The reason I ask is the copper CFCs have been on backorder for awhile but there is a SS option now. I know copper has better heat transfer properties than SS but the SS chiller tubing is longer. Is this enough to match the performance of the copper CFC?
Thanks!

I like stainless and thought I'd save some $$ by purchasing a stainless CFC.
I've read reviews in regard to copper vs stainless as I was curious too.
The reviews indicated SS just isn't as conductive (heat transfer wise) as copper. This probably explains why the copper is out of stock. Everyone wants one.
