Any chance of the pre-drilled kits being available in the near future? I never have good luck getting hold cut in metal to the exact right size, but I want to do the wiring and assembly myself...

I forgot to announce this here, but we've had pre-punched enclosures and tapped heat sinks now available in our all of our kits as an upgrade for a some months now for those that want to build themselves but avoid this labour intensive part of the build.

(Pre-punched enclosures for the 50A control panel for 30+ gallons are also back in stock - they were backordered for a few weeks).

See our order page: http://www.theelectricbrewery.com/control-panel

Cheers,

Kal

I already have most of the internal components now in my prototype, but now I want to put it into a nice enclosure instead of my hacked up prototype. Can I purchase just the pre-punched enclosure without buying the whole kit?

I'm afraid that's not an option we offer at the moment. One of the reasons being that the receptacles on the bottom can vary slightly based on manufacturer (as do the screw hole locations for these receptacles) so selling just the enclosure separately is difficult.

The outside with the semi-rough paint. I got mine from Spike Innovations. Everything I have used so far has left a residue; the blue cleaning pads, paper towels, and cotton cloths.

What do you use?

Can the labels be ordered independently/separately? I don't need all of them, but a few specific ones of them would be nice ;>)

New lower price on our pre-punched enclosure/tapped heat sink kit upgrade: Now only $50!

All thumbs but still want to assemble one of our control panel kits yourself? Pre-punched enclosures and tapped heat sinks are available as many of you enjoy building your own, but would prefer not to undertake the drilling and cutting of the control panel enclosure. This optional upgrade allows you to save time and helps ensure an exacting fit and finish with perfectly aligned controls and lights. Our professionally punched and powder coated enclosures come with a resilient matte charcoal finish ready for parts to be dropped in and wired up using our instructions. After years of trying different components to filter out the less desirable ones, our control panel kits include higher than average quality components, many US sourced. Yes, these parts are more expensive but you get what you pay for.

The upgrade costs way less than what just the dies would cost you. I have a full metal fab shop and I'd pay the $50.
