Thanks for the clarifications. Indeed, online trading solves the problem with ingredients. I think that bringing grain from Europe to America is not as difficult as it seems.

Kal,

I'm going to brew a batch and will be entering in a couple local homebrew competitions locally. Every time I brew this beer, it goes so quickly because everyone loves it.

I was thinking of trying this while fermenting under pressure using WLP925. White Labs is local to me, so I can get it straight from the lab.

My question is, usually, I let the beer sit on the yeast for a couple of weeks to let it clarify, as you suggested. What do I need to do to make this to be as clean and best as possible, for judging?

Thanks!

No idea, sorry! I've never used that yeast nor have I ever fermented under pressure. I have interest in fermenting under pressure as I'm not in a hurry. More: https://shop.theelectricbrewery.com/pages/fermenters#Why_dont_you_use_conicals_or_unitanks

For best results using the yeast I recommend and fermenting at standard atmospheric pressure, follow my recipe and the included NOTES / PROCESS.

Great beer - I still have a keg on tap right now from the last time I brewed it. A pic: https://www.instagram.com/p/CSSXHIBH88M/

Cheers!

Kal

Thanks! I don't wanna take any chances, so I'll go the regular route.

It just might be something I try later on this summer as an experiment.

Good looking beer!

Experimenting is good!

I tend to do that until I get a beer exactly the way I like it, and then I never touch it again, brewing it the same way every subsequent time. If I want to experiment I do that with the next beer I want to perfect. Wink

If you do experiment, let us know how it works out!

Cheers,

Kal
