|

Hey all,
So I was doing a cleaning cycle in my BK today just running some PBW dissolved in 12G of water through my wort pump and back in to the BK. Had the BK PID set at 170 degrees and for some reason the temp kept overshooting. The PID was set to manual at 100% and even when I turned it down to 85% it kept overshooting the 170 I set it at. It went all the way up to 180!
Not sure if there may be an issue with my PID or maybe the temp probe? I'm coming back to brewing after a long overseas hiatus so had to go back through Kal's set up instructions. Thinking maybe I'll run the auto-tune cycle on my BK PID unless somebody has some other insight to share?
Thanks all. Cheers.

Ah, so I should've been in Automatic mode for specific temps. Similar to when doing hop stands, etc, correct?
Thanks, Kal! Much appreciated!
