Hi,
A couple of months back I was lucky enough to get an electric brewery from a neighbor for real cheap. The brewery had not been used in over 3 years. I moved it into my shop and have got it almost ready to try. Along the way I did upgrade the conical fermenter by adding a cooling coil inside and built a glycol chiller.
My question is about cleaning everything to get it ready. The holes I bored in the fermenter I suppose need to be passivated, which I am plan to make a paste with Barkeeper's Friend and take care of, but what about the rest of the stuff. Should I simply just clean the rest and that be that? What would be the best way to clean the silicone hoses? Is it okay to pump PBW water through the pumps and hoses? Any suggestions to clean and get everything back into shape would be appreciated.
Thanks

Check out our "Cleaning Brewing Equipment & Kegs" guide, available under our USING YOUR BREWERY menu here:
https://shop.theelectricbrewery.com/pages/using-your-brewery
There are lots of other guides on using your brewery there as well that you may find handy, many of which are not specific to our setup but can be used by anyone.

They do not. See the guide above for more details.

Yes. Basically the same way as described in the guide.
Cheers!
Kal
