Checking EB Connections

How often should we be checking connections in our own built EB? I ask due to "A loose connection is definitely the most common reason we see for those who build their own." in http://www.theelectricbrewery.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=333130#333130 got me thinking about expansion/contraction due to heating/cooling.

If you feel you may not have connected things correctly or tight enough, checking the high current connection points once after a few uses is fine, then you should never have to check again assuming things are tightened correctly. Cheers!
