My Electric Brewery is based on the 2013 plans using the G1 Blichmann BoilerMaker 20 gallon kettles.
I've brewed plenty of great 10 gallons beers. I enjoy brewing 10 gallons of beers I enjoy, but I find I'm not experimenting as much as in the past as I don't want to make 10 gallons of something I really don't enjoy. I'd find it helpful to brew 2 to 3 gallons of something new initially to determine if I should then consider brewing it as a 10 gallon batch.
Is it possible to brew 2 to 3 gallons in this setup?
Thoughts?

I finally had a chance to check. Using my setup the minimum is > 5.5 gallons at end of boil otherwise the heating element is exposed (I know this isn't good or acceptable).
Therefore, I plan on using the HLT and Mash Tun from the Electric Brewery setup and collect (I estimate 3.31 gallons pre-boil) into my older brew kettle that I will then do the boil stove top. I need to locate my notes from my stove top brewing days to check on the proper boil off amount per hour and adjust accordingly.
This method is planned to give a 2.5 gallon batch (accounting for 1 to 1.5 gallons loss) and ending up for around 1 gallon enabling me to experiment. If I enjoy what I've brewed, then it's time to brew the same, scaled up, to the regular 10 gallon brew. I know these experimental batches won't be exactly the same, due to several factors, but I'm hoping they are close enough to give me an idea of the brew.
If I don't enjoy what I've brewed, then only 1 gallon to suffer drinking.
