Hi, all,
I will be getting started soon on building my The Electric Brewery and buying parts and a panel here. The first thing I'm going to order, in the next day or so, is a Greenlee 13/16th punch through the affiliate link. The reason is that I am adding a cooling coil to my Blichmann 14 ga fermenator, and it requires a pair of 13/16th holes to be punched in the lid. I'm a little concerned though, because in the product description it says the punch can be used on mild steel. Can the greenlee punch handle a stainless steel lid like what comes on the fermenator, or will I ruin a $70 tool if I try it?
thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul,

It'll handle the lid just fine - no different than the Blichmann stainless steel kettles I used the punch on (or similar kettles that many use them on including very thick keggles).

Welcome to the forum!

Kal
